Wooden Jhoola Price in Pakistan: What Changes the Cost?

By Alfalah Furniture · Updated 15 September 2026

The price of a wooden jhoola in Pakistan depends mainly on its full size, wood, carving, seating capacity, stand or ceiling-chain system, upholstery and installation. Two products called ‘wooden jhoola’ may not be comparable at all: one price may cover only a hanging seat, while another includes a heavy freestanding frame, chains and cushions. The safest comparison starts with the complete specification, not the headline amount.

What should a wooden jhoola price include?

Before comparing quotes, ask the seller to write down every included part. Alfalah Furniture will show the current price with each design in the Wooden Jhoolas collection as products are photographed and added.

  • The swing seat and its exact external and seating dimensions
  • A freestanding wooden or metal support frame, if the design uses one
  • Chains, hooks, bearings and other suspension hardware
  • Seat and back cushions, decorative pillows, foam and the selected fabric
  • Polish, deco paint or another agreed finish
  • Delivery, assembly and any installation work

The seven details that change the final cost

1. Solid wood and seasoning

Sheesham—also called tali—is valued for strength, grain and repairability. Ask which parts are solid Sheesham and whether another material is used anywhere in the seat, frame or decorative panels. Our Sheesham, tali and MDF guide explains how to inspect those claims.

2. One, two or three seats

A larger seat requires more wood, stronger suspension and a wider supporting frame. Compare the actual seat width and tested capacity instead of assuming that every product described as a two-seater carries the same load.

3. Modern or hand-carved Chinioti work

A clean modern jhoola usually requires fewer carving hours than a deeply carved Chinioti design. Premium carving should be evaluated close up: look for balanced patterns, clean edges and a finish that preserves rather than fills the detail.

4. Stand versus ceiling suspension

A complete freestanding frame adds substantial material and changes delivery handling. A ceiling-hung design may use less floor structure but needs suitable chains, anchors and a verified structural support point. Installation should never be guessed from a photograph.

5. Hardware and tested load capacity

The chain, hook, bearing, joint and frame work as one system. Ask whether the stated load applies to the complete assembled jhoola and how it was established. An unsupported capacity claim is not a substitute for safe construction and installation.

6. Foam, fabric and removable covers

Cushion thickness, foam density, fabric grade and removable covers affect both price and daily comfort. Choose upholstery for cleaning, sunlight and actual use—not only the appearance of a small sample.

7. Finish and placement

An indoor polish is not automatically suitable for constant sun or rain. If the jhoola is intended for a veranda or garden, confirm the finish, adhesive, metal hardware and fabric for those exact conditions. ‘Outdoor’ should be part of the written specification, not an assumption.

Jhoola, jhula and wooden swing: which term is correct?

Jhoola and jhula are common Roman-Urdu spellings of جھولا; wooden swing is the usual English description. Some sellers also write jhola. These labels do not indicate quality. Add words such as Sheesham, Chinioti, with stand, two-seater and for home to describe the product you actually want.

How to request a quote that can be compared fairly

  • Send the room or veranda width and depth, plus a photograph of the intended position.
  • Choose freestanding or ceiling-hung only after checking the available support and swing clearance.
  • State the required seating count and ask for the tested capacity of the complete design.
  • Request the exact wood, finish, fabric, included pieces, completion time and delivery charges in writing.
  • Visit the Kurri Road showroom or request a detailed video view before confirming a large custom order.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of a wooden jhoola in Pakistan?

There is no useful single price without a specification. The full size, wood, seating capacity, carving, stand or chain system, cushions, finish and delivery can all change the amount. Compare complete written quotes for the same specification.

Does a wooden jhoola price normally include the stand and cushions?

Not always. Some prices cover a hanging seat only, while others include the complete stand, chains, cushions and delivery. Ask for an itemized list before comparing prices.

Why does a Chinioti jhoola cost more than a simple wooden swing?

A deeply carved Chinioti design can require more solid wood, artisan carving time, finishing work and heavier construction. The actual difference depends on the design and specification.

Can Alfalah Furniture customize a wooden jhoola?

Customization may be available by design. Share the available space, seating requirement, preferred mounting type, polish, fabric and delivery city so practical changes and the final quote can be confirmed.
